🌸 AWAKEN: Yin Yoga for Spring 🌸 Been feeling sluggish, low on energy, and constantly tired over the Winter? As Spring approaches it’s time to boost your energy, creativity and focus, and I’m here to show you how! Join me on Sunday 27th March from 5.30 - 7pm live from The Yoga Room in Deptford for my brand new workshop! Celebrate the change of season (and the clocks going forwards) as, just like nature, you transition from the dormancy of Winter and awaken with a spring in your step and the energy to embrace the lighter months ahead. Taking inspiration from nature both in and around us, this 90 minute workshop is an invitation to slow down with a restful, restorative and meditative yin yoga practice and learn how to harness the power of your breath to leave you feeling physically, emotionally and energetically ready for Spring - think of it like a personal recharge. And of course it wouldn’t be a yin practice if you didn’t feel more rested, relaxed and calm too! So if you’re ready to leave behind the tiredness of Winter with an energetic spring in your step, this is the workshop for you! Here’s what you can expect: + Small class size for a relaxed and comfortable environment - perfect if you feel intimidated by larger classes or are new to yoga! + A carefully curated sequence of yin yoga postures to harness the energy of Spring + Options, modifications and plenty of props to best support your personal practice WHAT IS YIN YOGA? Yin is a soothing and slow style of yoga, made up of mostly mat based postures which are held for 3 - 5 minutes, aided by the use of props for additional support and comfort. The longer stationary holds target the connective tissue of the body, allowing for a deep physical and mental release. *This is the booking page to join STUDIO.
